Dr. Erik N. Quintana, DMD
Dr. Erik Quintana is originally from a small farm town in Central Oregon called Madras. He is fascinated by the complexities of surgery, the never ending pursuit of knowledge, and the privilege to treat patients with life changing surgery.
Dr. Quintana is attentive when meeting with patients. He treats everyone like family and is interested in connecting with them beyond their dental or surgical needs. He finds his job rewarding and feels he is blessed to have the best career.
He is excited to move to his wife’s home state and is drawn to the generosity and strong sense of community in Hawaii, which reminds him of his Mexican heritage.
Education and Residency
Dr. Quintana graduated from Oregon State University with a BioHealth Science degree. He then completed dental school with his DMD from Oregon Health & Science University.
In 2020 he completed his surgical internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. Following his intern year, he completed his oral and maxillofacial surgical residency in Illinois at Carle Foundation Hospital.
Board Certification
After finishing dental school and his oral and maxillofacial surgery training, Dr. Quintana completed the steps to become board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. To become board certified, he was required to complete a comprehensive examination that evaluated his knowledge of the biological and clinical sciences of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Outside the Office
Dr. Q enjoys spending time with his wife and their two miniature schnauzers, Tater and Mozzy. You can find him outside and staying active at the beach or the golf course. At home he enjoys playing his guitar and cooking meals. He enjoys cooking for others and believes in “breaking bread and sharing stories”.
